The SIP Cross-Domain Data Exchange Joint Consortium (hereinafter referred to as the "Joint Consortium") collects information from users of the SIP website (hereinafter referred to as the "Website") to the extent necessary for the smooth operation of the services provided on the Website (information provision via the Website, receipt of various opinions, etc.).
The Joint Consortium considers personal information to be data that requires the utmost care and will comply with the "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" and other related laws and regulations, and will handle it appropriately within the scope of the purpose of use under strict control with respect to its collection, storage and use.
The purpose of handling personal information on the Website is clearly stated, and personal information is obtained by legal and fair means, in principle, after specifying and clearly indicating the purpose of use in advance.
In principle, personal information provided to the Website will be used only for the purpose specified in each case.
Personal information collected will be kept accurate and up-to-date, and necessary measures will be taken to prevent leakage, loss, damage, or falsification.
Personal information that is no longer needed will be promptly disposed of or erased.
The Joint Consortium may outsource a part of its operations in order to facilitate the smooth operation of the Joint Consortium. In such cases, the Joint Consortium will conclude an agreement with the subcontractor regarding the appropriate handling of personal information, and will supervise the subcontractor to ensure that personal information is handled appropriately.
Personal information provided to us will not be disclosed or provided to third parties except in the following cases.
- When we have obtained consent from the provider of the information to disclose the information to a third party.
- When requested to do so in accordance with laws and regulations.
- When the information is disclosed to a subcontractor as described in 4. to the extent necessary for the performance of the relevant services.
When there is a request for disclosure, correction, or suspension of use of one's own personal information, we will respond to such a request after confirming the identity of the person making the request.
